Born in 1994, I grew up between sketchbooks, Saturday cartoons, and an early obsession with drawing and have been imagining characters and narratives as long as I can remember. 


I studied Art and Design at Escola Massana from 2012 to 2017, graduating with highest honours and receiving the extraordinary award for my final project. Along the way I kept learning through places like Scholism, Proko Academy, and Domestika, always trying to push both hand and eye further.My practice moves between freelance illustration, graphic design, and teaching. I began as an artist-in-residence at L’Escola dels Encants and later taught artistic languages at Octavio Paz School.

I currently work at BOL Creative Production House and Device Studio, alongside freelance projects across fashion, luxury, storytelling, editorial, and food.

Sound has always been there too. Nine years of classical guitar and music theory at the Conservatori de Badalona, followed by years of digging into production and sound design, learning from artists like Alex Martín, Laura Llaneli, Andrew Huang, and Paul Davids.

Since 2021, I’ve worked on design campaigns, illustration, and music projects, alongside involvement in innovative education systems.This is why I’m continuously learning new stuff and keeping up to date with the latest trends.

Curiosity and a passion for craft have shaped my development across both creative and technical fields. I’ve worked across 2D and 3D illustration, character design, graphic design, music production, and sound design.


A focus on experimentation and bold thinking has allowed me to move between styles and tones, creating visuals, characters, and stories across different kinds of projects.

PANG!


Project that focuses on the study of musical scores and continues the development of graphic notation.


A holistic system that brings together research in visual arts, graphic design, innovative pedagogy, performativity, and music.

The system proposes a multiple bijective functions system. Each performer chooses an interpretation model (either proposed by me or designed by the them) of 'one-to-one correspondence' to interpret and generate the music.


These scores serve as a bridge between the clear guidelines of a traditional score and the free improvisation found in open compositions, offering a middle ground between musical proposition and composition.

The system allows each user to select the method that best aligns with their preferences for sound exploration.

To create these musical Sigils, I employ the magical square of Saturn based on water—a 3 x 3 square containing a fixed numerical arrangement from 1 to 9.


INTERPRETATION


As documents designed for contextual improvisation, a single score can yield multiple musical responses.

Symbolically: Performing a musical interpretation using the graphic symbols that may appear in the scores, using them as:


A: Narrative elements

B: Symbolic correspondences through speculative music


Narrative approach: Interpret music using the graphic narrative resources in the score, providing a framework and semantic field for sonic production


Composition:&#38;nbsp;

Perform a musical interpretation using synesthetic constraints based on the color-note musical equivalence and the formal equivalence of graphic lines/elements - Character - note trajectory.

Emotionally: Perform a musical interpretation based on the subjective inputs evoked by each score, using those sensations as a driving force for sonic exploration.

EVENTS &#38;amp; CONFERENCES

The Project has been in circulation since 2017, participating in design festivals, illustration festivals, conferences, notation and interpretation workshops, jams, collective exhibitions, individual exhibitions, and podcasts.

AZOTH


Personal project that started during the confinement of March 2020 and ended at the beginning of 2023. The albums explores characters that inhabit the world “Azoth” a worldbuilding project I pursue in my free time.


It's divided into two parts: the first explores various locations on the planet, while the second one focuses specifically on the Saudade Islands.

Azoth was believed to be the essential agent of transformation in alchemy. Azoth was considered to be an universal medication and was sought for in alchemy. Its symbol was the Caduceus. This term became a poetic word for the element mercury. being originally derived from the Arabic al-zā'būq "the mercury".

Illustrations created for the jewelry brand Judit Cuadros, a bespoke and artisanal local jewelry brand from Barcelona. Since 2022, I have been collaborating by providing illustrations and graphic assets for her brand, helping to bring her visual universe to life. LA MODESTA


An itinerant module on wheels, serving as a container for an important collection of publications created by students from various European educational institutions, primarily from Escola Massana. Its purpose was and is to possess and store publications generated at educational context to make them permanently accessible for consultation by other students as well as teaching staff.

The anarchive is established as a non-contemplative space, avoiding the traditional library/museum practice of preservation, due both to the type of documents we refer to and the context in which they are found.

Born in 2015 as a documentary collection, with the goal of collectively working on a reference archive, oriented towards reflecting on publications created in pedagogic contexts.


Most of these publications are ephemeral in nature, of no editorial interest, often considered “class assignments,” and can be regarded as materials of interest to the entire educational community in terms of research: experimental printing systems, unique formats, non-linear narratives, transfeminist perspectives on publication formats, body politics and the archive, etc. Many of these publications are sometimes threatened by oblivion, and this project is focused on their preservation.

The main group was formed by Clara-Iris Ramos, Judit Cuadros, Sara Álvarez, Karo Buer, Judit Saavedra, and Deifg MG.
During its formation, various people participated, including Néstor Ceniceros, Anna Solé, Leily Khabiri, Edu Vecino, and Sandra Calvo.

The Archive is presented through two mobile devices: The Module and The Suitcase. Both function as itinerant and exhibition artifacts, allowing for engagement with other groups and spaces.

La Piconadora / Gutter fest


We teamed up with Espai Brut &#38;amp; Clara-Iris Ramos to create "La apisonadora," a large-format magazine (measuring 1m x 70cm when closed), printed on fabric using a small 50 kg pétanque lawn roller. It has sewn binding and is made with woodcut plates using black offset ink. This print-performance was carried out at the Gutter Festival in 2018.


It includes contributions from Arnal Ballester, Pau Masiques, Olga Capdevila, and L’Automàtica, among others.

In 2019, we bought a food &#38;amp; drink vending machine and customized it into a zine vending machine! We presented it at the Gutter Fest, and it was later on display at Espai Brut for a period of time.

In the machine, you could find short zines presented in small boxes.

A performative debate around the concept of "participation," which took place within the cycle of conversations for social transformation at “elcrucrucru”.
